Embark on a stroll through the labyrinthine streets of the old pedestrian quarter of Medina, founded by the Portuguese and named "Casa Blanca." Immerse yourself in the Moroccan ambiance and peek into the homes of local residents. You'll see the walled house with ghosts and meet the countless city cats. Learn about the royal Moroccan cuisine, famed for its exquisite desserts now accessible to everyone.
During the tour, you will also visit Casablanca's new symbol — the luxurious Hassan II Mosque, the tallest religious building in the world.
Visit the Central Market where you can purchase Moroccan souvenirs, argan oil, spices, and dried fruits. You'll get acquainted with local traditions, customs, and Moroccan cuisine. A tasting of oysters, sea snails, and hedgehogs awaits, as well as a lunch that includes Moroccan flatbreads, lentils with a rich sauce, and a meat tagine or couscous (depending on the day of the week).
Explore the elegant quarter established by the French in the early 20th century. Admire the most beautiful mansions created by European architects and learn the history of the Art Deco architectural style, born in Casablanca. Discover where Édith Piaf lived and where Antoine de Saint-Exupéry began writing his bestseller "The Little Prince." I will also tell you why Scott Fitzgerald named his most famous novel after a French tailor from Casablanca.
